Once upon a time an otter was seen on this stretch of river I always live in hope of a repeat sighting, but once again it was just the Grey Wagtails and Dipper. Not one Dipper but three feeding in the ice cold waters of the weir.
Water levels are rising and crashing down to the river below, the Dippers beginning to struggle in their usual hunting spots now seeking the relatively calmer areas of the river.
